At epic you will hear us talk about real life change, growing and becoming all that God intended you to be. We’re convinced that happens best when you’re connected in real relationships. When you’re ready, here are your next steps…
ATTEND It’s possible that you are just beginning your journey with God or you have never really committed to following Christ – so your next step might be to simply attend next week’s gathering. We meet every Sunday here at epic. Sunday morning is when we all get together so that we can be challenged and encouraged to continue the mission God has give the body of epic. CONNECT with God and with others. Life is lived to the fullest when it’s in community with others. God never intended for us to go through this life alone…that’s one of the reasons being part of the body is so important. You can connect at epic through our small groups. Click here for more info.
SERVE the body and the community, both locally and globally. Epic is a place where people discover their gifts and use them to serve. There are so many people each Sunday who use their time and energy to care for kids, produce services, welcome guests and lead small groups. But there’s more…we’re becoming a body that is having an impact on the community where we live, meeting the physical and spiritual needs around us. Each month our food pantry provides meals to families in need, small groups care for their neighbors and individuals are serving people in their communities. Our vision does not end with Portland. We’ve impacted communities outside of Portland such as St. Johns, Michigan and Panama. And we intend to keep that outward focus. The tithes and offerings received make this possible. GROW in our relationship with God. No matter what season of life you are in, epic is a place where you can continually take next steps in your walk with Christ. Our Starting Point class is just one tool people use to grow in their love for God and others and in the process we become more and more of who God created us to be. LEAD others to fully follow Christ. Everyone is a ‘masterpiece’ to be developed. This is why Jesus asked his followers on his last day with him to go and develop the masterpiece in others. He told them to baptize people into a life with God and help them to know how to live out the way of Christ. We should all be asking God who the people are in our lives He wants us to be intentional about walking with in developmental relationships.
