Part of what God asks us to do for His purposes and our good is to serve each other.  He’s given us all a unique mix of gifts, personality and experiences.  Epic is a place to discover and us those gifts.  Around here we call this ‘being the Body,’ meaning that we use what God gave us to love and serve one another and the community around us to be what God intended for our church to be.  There are many ways to be the body…

One of the best ways to get connected around here is to join a serving team.  It’s a great way to get to know people and welcome others.  There are tons of people that come together every week to care for kids, produce services, welcome guests, lead small groups, serve in the café…the list goes on and on.  Honestly, we can’t ‘do church’ without the church.  

…locally

We are always on the lookout for ways to serve our local community, whether that be through our food pantry, individuals helping neighbors, planning community service days or improving a local neighborhood.  We welcome the challenge to bring Jesus into our community – one act of kindness at a time.  

…globally

Our commitment to meet physical and spiritual needs reaches our global community as well.  Currently our focus is on the country of Panama.  There is a great need in Panama for new church plants and a great need to share the love of God through tangible acts of love.  Each year we take a group of people, train and equip them, and release them into missions.  We encourage everyone, including teens, to experience a missions trip at least once.  The results are life-changing for those who go and those we serve.
